FPL Assistant Updates

FPL Assistant ("the App") is a companion tool for Fantasy Premier League managers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Anonymous, aggregated app events may be processed by our backend and analytics tooling to help us improve the App and understand conversion performance. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google through the relevant store.
Your preferences and team data are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. We do not maintain a user account system. Our servers may retain pseudonymous technical information and anonymous app events required for app functionality, one-time promotional eligibility, redemption-abuse prevention, and usage measurement.
Network requests are made to the official FPL API and our backend proxy to retrieve publicly available fantasy football data.
Complimentary promotion analytics and redemption records do not store FPL passwords, Premier League login credentials, the raw FPL Team ID in complimentary analytics or redemption rows, advertising identifiers, device fingerprints, or precise location.
The FPL Deadline Brief is a separate, optional marketing newsletter. We only send it when you explicitly request it and complete the confirmation link in a double opt-in email. Existing app users, website visitors and people whose email may be stored elsewhere are not enrolled automatically.
What we collect: your email address, signup and confirmation dates, the page where you asked to subscribe, your subscription status, and the minimum records needed to demonstrate consent and honour an opt-out.
Why and lawful basis: we use this information to send the FPL Deadline Brief you requested. The lawful basis is your consent.
Double opt-in: entering an email address and checking the newsletter consent box creates a pending request only. No marketing newsletter is sent until the confirmation link is used.
Email provider: FPL Assistant uses Resend to deliver the newsletter and confirmation emails. Your email address is provided to Resend for that purpose. We do not sell the mailing list, share it with advertisers, use it to create advertising audiences, or send it into site analytics.
Withdrawing consent: every Deadline Brief contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails. We may retain a minimal suppression record so the opt-out is respected and the address is not accidentally re-added.
Retention: unconfirmed pending signups are retained for a short period and are purged after approximately seven days. Active subscriber data is kept while you are subscribed. After unsubscribe, unnecessary marketing profile data may be removed and only the minimum suppression record needed to honour the opt-out may remain.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
