Delete Your Account & Data

Applies to the FPL Assistant mobile app

This page explains how to request deletion of your data associated with FPL Assistant, the companion app for Fantasy Premier League managers, published by Simpatico. FPL Assistant does not use traditional user accounts (no email or password sign-up); most of your data lives locally on your device.

What data we hold

FPL Assistant may store the following, keyed to your FPL Team ID, an anonymous device identifier, or a display name you choose:

• FPL Team ID — used to fetch your squad from the official FPL API.
• Watchlist selections — players you track, stored against an anonymous device identifier.
• Feedback — any feedback or bug reports you submit in-app.
• Community messages — chat posts, stored against the display name shown on the message (not your FPL Team ID).
• Push notification token — if you enable deadline reminders.
• On-device preferences — theme, saved teams and settings, which are stored only on your device.

Delete data yourself (instant)

1. In FPL Assistant, open Settings and turn off Deadline reminders to remove your push notification token.
2. Open Price Watch and remove any players from your watchlist.
3. Uninstall the app to erase all remaining locally stored data (saved teams, theme and preferences) from your device.

Request full server-side deletion

To have any data stored on our servers permanently deleted, email us and include your FPL Team ID (for watchlist and push data) and, if you posted in community chat, the display name you used (so we can identify those messages):

Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request - FPL Assistant". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is kept

• Deleted: your watchlist, feedback, push token, and any community messages posted under the display name you provide.
• Kept: nothing personally identifying. Purchase and subscription records are managed by Apple and Google, not by FPL Assistant — manage those through your App Store or Google Play account.

FPL Assistant retrieves publicly available fantasy football data from the official Fantasy Premier League API. We do not sell your data. For general privacy questions, contact us at fplassistant.help@gmail.com.
